Itinerary Request

Every journey to Japan is different — shaped by the seasons, the regions, the pace, and the experiences that matter most to you. A tailor-made itinerary starts with understanding what you are looking for, then building a trip around it in detail.

From the duration and destinations to private guides, cultural encounters, and handpicked accommodation, every element is considered. The more you share about your expectations, the more precisely the itinerary can be crafted.

SPECIFIC NEEDS?

At Hitotoki, we believe each of our Guest is very special. By filling the itinerary request form with as many details as possible, we will be able to build an itinerary that will match your interests and expectations.

The process begins with your request form, where you share your travel dates, preferred destinations, budget, and the kind of experiences you are looking for. From there, a detailed itinerary proposal is crafted around your specific interests — covering accommodation, private guides, cultural experiences, and all logistics. Once you are happy with the proposal, final adjustments are made before confirming your trip.

A tailor-made Japan itinerary can include a very wide range of experiences depending on your interests. Cultural immersion might include private tea ceremonies, calligraphy workshops, sake tastings, or exclusive access to zen temple gardens. For nature lovers, options range from ancient cedar forest hikes on Yakushima to cycling through Kyoto's countryside. Culinary experiences can be built around sushi counters, ramen tastings, Kyoto kaiseki dinners, or street food tours. Accommodation is carefully selected — from luxury city hotels to secluded mountain ryokans with private onsen.

For the best availability of accommodation, private guides, and exclusive experiences, planning 4 to 6 months in advance is recommended — particularly for travel during cherry blossom season (late March to mid-April) or autumn foliage season (October–November), when Japan is at peak demand. For summer or winter departures, 2 to 3 months ahead is generally sufficient. Last-minute trips can occasionally be arranged, though availability of top-tier accommodation and exclusive experiences becomes more limited.
