Meet-and-greet upon arrival in Tokyo international airport and private transfer to your hotel.
Enjoy a private full-day guided by private car. Start with Meiji Jingu – Tokyo’s most popular shrine – located in a peaceful park in the heart of Tokyo, before stopping by Omote-sando – The Champs-Elysees of Japan and Harajuku, headquarters of the Japanese youth and stop by an owl coffee for a drink. After lunch in a local restaurant, continue to the old-town of Asakusa before ending your day watching one act of a Kabuki play, a traditional Japanese form of theater.
Together with your guide, head the volcanic region of Hakone by private car. Popular for its stunning views on Mount Fuji, the Hakone region hosts some of the best hot Springs Japan has to offer. In the afternoon, you will visit the Open-air Museum exhibiting Picasso masterpieces. At night, dinner will be served in your Japanese room at your Ryokan – the Gora Kadan. This traditional inn is considered the most luxurious ryokan in Japan with its open-air bath for you to relax after a long day of visits.
It is already time to board the Shinkansen bound for Kyoto. Together with your guide, you will visit Kinkaku-ji– the Golden Pavilion – and Ryoan-ji, famous for its zen garden before heading to a private tea ceremony in a century-old machiya – a Japanese traditional house.
Located less than one hour from Kyoto by car, Nara is home of Todai-ji, the world’s largest wooden building surrounded by the Nara park where deers live in harmony with locals. At night, visit the old Kyoto district of Gion where you will enjoy a Kaiseki dinner while watching the private performance of a Maiko. You will have the exclusive opportunity to ask her questions about her mysterious world.
