Away from the touristic track, the business district of Shinjuku remains unfamiliar for most visitors to Japan. But photographing it is a real eye trainer, constantly looking for shapes, lines, reflections, waiting for a character to enter the frame and complete a picture. Explore a gigantic maze of concrete and glass and challenge yourself while learning more about your camera and composition with a professional photographer.
Head to the business district of Nishi-Shinjuku.
Upon arrival, start your experience with a 20-minute introduction session at a coffee shop and where you will discuss about the technical details you need to know for this tour while getting your gear prepared.
Along the tour, your instructor will suggest you viewpoints, ideas, how to look at things, train you on technical points through small challenges so that you can get the best pictures possible and get the essence of Japan in each shot. The session will cover a limited number of photographic notions in order for you to be able to remember them and to continue practicing by yourself.
At the end of the session, the instructor will review the different shots you have taken and give you feedbacks and advices to keep improving your photography skills.
Drop-off at your hotel and end of the tour.
